Hello Leaders!

 
Welcome to week 1 of your WeRPN Leadership 2 course – we’re on our way! I just wanted to review the norms and expectations with all of you as we begin the course.

What can you expect from your facilitators?

Timely response to your questions.

• If you have questions, please contact your facilitator by email and we will respond to you in a timely manner, usually within 24 hours.
• If you have problems with readings/postings or are unclear about the assignments, please email us so we can clarify the issue for you.

What do we expect from you?

Completion of all weekly readings, responding to the questions and posting at least one unique response to a colleagues’ posting each week.

• The readings will help put context to the weekly lessons and questions.
• A weekly posting that reflects the weekly readings or other readings that help you to answer the weekly questions. If you are unable to post due to a vacation or other commitments, you can post upon your return as the content for the entire course will remain open. Please email to let us know that your posting will be delayed.
• A weekly response to one of your colleague’s post. It must be a reflective response not just a brief agreement or acknowledgment.
• To successfully complete the course, meaningful weekly postings must be received for all eight weeks in addition to completion of the final assignment.

What can we expect from one another in this course forum?

• Respect for each other’s postings
• Confidentiality. The discussion in the course is not to be discussed outside of the course (some of you may work together and when an example of a workplace scenario is provided it should remain confidential). When posting stories, you may use a pseudonym to protect that confidentiality.
